Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) refers to the procedures and protections in place to prevent abuse, neglect, or exploitation of adults who may be at greater risk due to age, disability, or mental health challenges. In care settings, safeguarding ensures that vulnerable individuals are treated with dignity and provided a safe environment where concerns are addressed promptly.
