# Vatix > Vatix is a B2B operations platform for events, audits, documents, actions, sites and analytics, plus a BS 8484:2022 accredited lone worker safety product. Built for organisations that need to capture what happens on the front line, act on it, audit against standards, and prove compliance. Used by 800+ enterprise customers across health and safety, healthcare, manufacturing, facilities management, social housing, retail banking, and the public sector. The platform differentiates on structural flexibility. Most competitors offer template-based customisation with hard limits. Vatix exposes a Salesforce-style Object Manager on the core modules, so customers add their own custom fields, build their own form layouts, configure their own pipelines, and tailor the platform to their actual processes without code. This is what lets the same product serve Cash Access UK across a retail banking operation, Nimbus Care for patient safety incident reporting, and Swift Group for manufacturing EHS compliance, without any of them feeling like they are on someone else's system. ## Company - Founded: 2018 - Headquarters: 30 Great Guildford Street, London, SE1 0HS, United Kingdom - Engineering: Kraków, Poland - Legal entities: Vatix Ltd (UK), Vatix PL (Poland) - Customers: 800+ organisations - Phone: 020 3991 5555 - Email: sales@vatix.com - Website: https://www.vatix.com ## What Vatix Does Vatix is a platform for operational excellence. Across every industry there is a universal need to understand what is happening on the front line, route it to the right people, make sure it gets followed up, verify that standards are being maintained, and continuously improve. That is what the platform does, configured differently for each customer's context. The platform spans multiple domains in a single system: health and safety (EHS), operational management, healthcare quality, lone worker protection, and other domain-specific compliance work. No other operations platform integrates lone worker safety with event reporting, audits, documents and analytics in one place. ## Core Platform Modules ### Events The starting point for most customers. An event is anything happening on the front line that the organisation needs to know about: a health and safety incident, near-miss, observation, food safety issue, patient safety event, customer complaint, safeguarding concern, hazard report. Reported via web, mobile (iOS, Android, tablet), QR code, public web link, or offline-capable PWA. Public submissions can be anonymous. Customisable forms per use case. Assignment rules route the record to the right collaborators and the right follow-up pipeline based on the data captured. Every record has a WhatsApp-style activity timeline for collaboration plus a separate compliance-grade audit trail. ### Actions Task management for accountability. Every event finding, every audit finding, every document review can generate an action with an owner, deadline, and status. Without Actions, things get reported but nothing changes. Actions ensures every finding leads to a tracked, assigned, deadline-managed task. ### Audits The systematic verification layer. Customers build their own audit templates, schedule audits (one-off or recurring, by site, asset, or contact), and execute on web or native mobile. Scoring, mandatory fields, photo and evidence capture, signatures. Multi-site organisations get audit benchmarking across locations on Enterprise. Corrective actions flow directly into the Actions module. ### Documents A native rich text editor (Notion or Google Docs style) for authoring operational documents in the platform: policies, procedures, risk assessments, RAMS, COSHH, fire risk assessments, toolbox talks, meeting notes. Folder structure, version control on every change, real-time collaborative editing, scheduled review dates, approval workflows, related-record linking, Word import and PDF/Word export. The killer feature is Read and Understood: share a document with colleagues, they must scroll through and attest, and the platform tracks who has confirmed which version when. Drafting AI is live; an agentic AI that suggests document updates based on platform data (e.g. incorporating working-at-height incident lessons into the relevant risk assessment) is in development for 2026. ### Sites, Assets and Contacts The relational layer that lets organisations model their structure in the platform. Sites are places (offices, warehouses, care homes, branches, sites). Assets are things (vehicles, equipment, machinery). Contacts are important people who are not platform users (customers, service users, contractors, key external stakeholders). Every other record can be linked to sites, assets, and contacts, providing the organisational context that makes the rest of the data meaningful. ### Analytics Self-serve custom dashboards using a drag-and-drop builder, 40+ chart types, AI-assisted chart construction in natural language, scheduled PDF and PNG delivery, and the ability to export individual charts or full dashboards. All data across all modules is reportable, including custom Object Manager fields and form responses. Predictive safety analytics on Enterprise. ### Risk Register (coming late 2026) A dedicated enterprise risk management module currently in development. Will provide a formal risk register that relates risks to events, audits, actions, documents, sites, and assets. Not yet available. ## Cross-Cutting Platform Capabilities - Object Manager: Salesforce-style configuration on Events, Documents, Sites, Assets, and Contacts. Add custom fields with multiple data types, build custom layouts, configure module behaviour to match the customer's processes. - Relational data model: every record can be linked to records in other modules. Ask "show me every event, audit, and action related to this site" or "show me the full history of this asset". - Activity timeline: WhatsApp-style threaded discussions on every record with @mentions and notifications. Collaboration, not just a database. - History audit trail: separate, compliance-grade log of every change to every record. - Workflow automation: assignment rules, pipeline routing, field automation from forms, escalation rules, notification triggers, review scheduling. - Granular permissions: visibility controlled at team, site, event type, and sensitivity level. Critical for safeguarding, sensitive investigations, and multi-entity organisations. - Mobile: native iOS and Android apps, including tablet support. Event reporting and audit execution designed for field use. - Authentication: SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning on Enterprise. - API: REST API on Enterprise for third-party integration. ## Lone Worker Safety A separate but integrable product line, BS 8484:2022 accredited, where Vatix started as a company. - Safe Pro device: dedicated GPS device with physical SOS button, intelligent fall detection that distinguishes real falls from normal activity, 4G-first with 2G fallback, true multi-network roaming SIM (not locked to one provider), 3-5+ days battery life, test mode, pooled device support. - Lone worker app: iOS and Android with feature parity. SOS alert (including discreet duress mode), timed welfare check-ins, peer check-in, GPS during working hours only (privacy-respecting), offline caching of SOS alerts, background operation that survives battery optimisation. - 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre: trained operators around the clock, 365 days a year, BS 8484:2022 accredited. Operated through a partnership with Securitas. Customisable response protocols per organisation. Customers can update escalation paths in the platform without needing to notify the ARC separately. Geographic redundancy. App and device are not an industry default decision. Some teams prefer phones, others a standalone device, many deploy both: devices for higher-risk roles, app for lower-risk lone workers. Both connect to the same ARC and the same web management platform. When sold alongside the core platform, lone worker activity (alerts, check-ins, device usage) flows into Events and Analytics, giving a single connected view of safety across the organisation. This is the unique competitive position: no other lone worker provider offers an integrated operations platform, and no other operations platform offers BS 8484 accredited lone worker safety. ## Pricing Three platform tiers, plus workforce licences for frontline staff and the Lone Worker product priced separately. - Essentials: £19 per user per month. Teams professionalising safety management. Self-serve sign-up. - Professional: £35 per user per month. Regulated organisations needing full EHS compliance, AI capabilities, and the relational Sites / Assets / Contacts layer. Demo-led with guided onboarding. - Enterprise: contact us. Large multi-site organisations needing SSO, SCIM, API access, cross-site benchmarking, predictive analytics, custom integrations, data residency options, dedicated account manager, 99.9% uptime SLA, white-glove onboarding. - Workforce Essentials: £2.50 per person per month. For frontline staff submitting reports, completing assigned actions and audits, and acknowledging documents. - Workforce Professional: £3.50 per person per month. Same shape as Workforce Essentials but aligned to a Professional or Enterprise parent contract. - Lone Worker add-on: per-device pricing with preferential rates at higher tiers (around £14 per device at Essentials, around £10 per device at Enterprise). Every tier includes the complete platform. Customers do not buy individual modules. ## Ideal Customer Profile - Organisation size: 200+ employees, typically multi-site or with field / lone workers. - Operational complexity: regulated industries, multiple sites, complex compliance reporting requirements. - Pain points solved: scattered data across spreadsheets and paper forms, no single source of truth, manual compliance administration, poor visibility across sites and teams, low adoption of existing legacy systems, need to protect lone or remote workers. - Industries: manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, construction, education, retail, logistics, public sector, housing, professional services, retail banking. ## Accreditations and Compliance - ISO 27001 certified - BS 8484:2022 accredited (lone worker product) - SOC 2 Type II in progress - GDPR compliant - SSAIB accredited Alarm Receiving Centre ## G2 Recognition (Spring 2026) Best Usability, Momentum Leader, High Performer Enterprise, High Performer Mid-Market, High Performer, Leader. ## Customers Notable named customers include Intel, Siemens, NHS, NHS Property Services, Cambridge University, University of Oxford, PTSG, Securitas, Greencore, Sage Homes, Cash Access UK, Nimbus Care, Mecsia Group, Swift Group, Autism Initiatives, Percy Hedley Foundation, Lovehoney, Wren Kitchens. Built for operational processes, risk, and compliance. - Not a general document management system like SharePoint or Google Drive. Documents is for authoring and distributing operational documents, not arbitrary file storage. - Not an enterprise GRC platform in the ServiceNow GRC or Archer category. Vatix serves the operational layer. - Does not replace HR systems, payroll, or core business applications. - Predictive safety analytics is Enterprise-only. Beyond that, automated anomaly detection is roadmap. - Risk Register module: in development for late 2026, not yet live. - Agentic AI in Documents: in development for 2026, not yet a full capability. - Automated audit scheduling driven by risk scores: not currently supported. ## Site Map ### Platform modules - [Platform overview](https://www.vatix.com/workspace-software) - [Incident reporting](https://www.vatix.com/incident-reporting-software) - [Audits and inspections](https://www.vatix.com/audits-and-inspections) - [Risk assessments](https://www.vatix.com/risk-assessments) - [Document management](https://www.vatix.com/document-management) - [Reporting and analytics](https://www.vatix.com/reporting-and-analytics) ### Lone Worker - [Lone worker safety](https://www.vatix.com/lone-worker-safety) - [Lone worker app](https://www.vatix.com/lone-worker-app) - [Safe Pro device](https://www.vatix.com/lone-worker-device) - [Alarm Receiving Centre](https://www.vatix.com/alarm-receiving-centre) ### Solutions by business need - [Health and safety (EHS)](https://www.vatix.com/health-and-safety-software) - [EHS platform](https://www.vatix.com/ehs-software) - [Risk management and compliance](https://www.vatix.com/risk-management-and-compliance) - [Operational excellence](https://www.vatix.com/operational-excellence) - [Employee safety](https://www.vatix.com/employee-safety) ### Solutions by industry - [Healthcare](https://www.vatix.com/healthcare) - [Manufacturing](https://www.vatix.com/manufacturing) - [Construction](https://www.vatix.com/construction) - [Facilities management](https://www.vatix.com/facilities-management) - [Social housing](https://www.vatix.com/social-housing) - [Logistics and transport](https://www.vatix.com/logistics-and-transport) ### Pricing - [Platform pricing](https://www.vatix.com/pricing) - [Lone worker pricing](https://www.vatix.com/pricing#lone-worker) ### Resources - [Blog](https://www.vatix.com/blog) - [Guides, templates, checklists](https://www.vatix.com/resources) - [Glossary](https://www.vatix.com/glossary) - [Customer stories](https://www.vatix.com/customers) ### Company and contact - [About us](https://www.vatix.com/about-us) - [Contact us](https://www.vatix.com/contact-us) - [Contact sales](https://www.vatix.com/contact-sales) ### Legal - [Privacy policy](https://www.vatix.com/privacy) - [Cookie policy](https://www.vatix.com/cookie-policy) - [Master Service Agreement](https://www.vatix.com/legal/master-service-agreement) - [Sub-processors](https://www.vatix.com/legal/sub-processors)
